Martín and Maestro Carlos Piantini during the '97/'98 FIU Symphony Orchestra Concert Season.

Martín worked with the FIU Symphony Orchestra for a year and a half under internationally acclaimed conductor Carlos Piantini. Maestro Piantini has led some of the finest orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, Vienna Symphony, National symphony orchestra (Washington DC), San Carlo Symphony (Italy), Jerusalem Orchestra, Lle de France (Paris), Taiwan Symphony, Havana Symphony, Orchestra international de Italia, National Symphony Orchestra of Dominican Republic and many others. During this time Martin had the opportunity to work and perform with the following world class artists: Peabo Bryson, Nestor Torres, Arturo Sandoval, Susan Starr, Lisa LaCross, Fredrick Kaufman and dazzling violinist Robert Davidovici.
