Martín and Ivo Medek during the 7th Annual Percussion Workshop Trstenice 2003. An international performance and composition workshop in the Czech Republic.

During the summer of 2003 Martín studied composition with the incredible composer and pedagogue Ivo Medek, at the Janacek Academy of Music in Brno, Czech Republic. During this time Martín had the chance to work with Mutsuko Aizawa, percussionist (Germany), Jeff Beer, performer/composer (Germany), Stephan Froleyks, performer/composer (Germany), Tomas Ondrusek, performer/composer (Czech Republic), Martin Smolka, composer (Czech Republic), Mathias Steinauer, composer (Switzerland).
